Program of Study Outline

For your convenience, First Coast Academy provides all the tools you'll need to successfully complete the courses including textbooks, study guides, and online testing. Our educational staff is committed to your future. Tuition at First Coast Academy includes everything you need to successfully obtain your high school diploma at home.

Course Description

First Coast Academy High School offers a distance-learning program that allows anyone, anywhere to successfully complete his or her high school requirements and obtain a high school diploma. You will never be required to set foot in a classroom. You will never be required to disrupt your already busy schedule. But you will be able to work at your own pace, while you receive your lessons at home.

FCA requires successful completion of 18 credits of the required curriculum in order to receive a FCA high school diploma. Credit is given by providing an official written transcript, verifying specific subjects have been successfully completed. Each remaining course takes you step-by-step through the lessons you need to earn your high school diploma.

Here's how it works: Your first course Mastering Study Skills will be sent immediately after your enrollment has been accepted. Your curriculum schedule will be given to you once your transcript has been evaluated (if applicable). Other courses will follow as you complete each course final exam so that you will always have learning materials to work with. The speed in which you work, and the number of credits needed will determine how long it will take you to earn you diploma.
