First Coast Academy's first lesson is unique. This lesson will prepare the student
who has been away from traditional school for some time. If you have been in school
recently, but have never done home study, How to Study will be extremely useful
to you as well. |

Job Readiness- .75 Credits
Book 1 covers communication—giving and receiving clear directions, working with
people, asking the right questions, listening effectively, negotiating, and more.
Book 2 covers personal development—meeting employer expectations, being a team player,
accepting positive and negative feedback, improving self image, taking risks, handling
responsibility, and preparing for future success.
